The role pertains to the Platform Team in Aereo whose charter is to build and maintain our cloud-based enterprise SaaS platform, Aereo Cloud. Aereo Cloud is a powerful platform that enables organizations to store, manage, visualize, and analyze their drone-based geospatial data at the scale and generate critical and actionable business insights based on this data
About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Developer Intern who is passionate about software
quality, modern web technologies, and test automation practices. You will work closely
with the engineering team to build and maintain end-to-end test automation for a React based web application.
This internship offers hands-on experience with React, Playwright, TypeScript, Docker,
and Git while contributing to real-world production workflows.
Responsibilities
• Design and maintain end-to-end test cases using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Analyze application workflows and identify positive, negative, and edge-case
scenarios.
• Follow Page Object Model (POM) and reusable automation patterns.
• Execute and debug tests in local and Docker environments.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and application quality.
• Report defects with clear reproduction steps.
Required Skills
• Good understanding of React, JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals.
• Ability to understand and work with existing codebases.
• Ability to think through positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios.
• Basic understanding of web applications and browser behaviour.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with Docker, Git and Browser DevTools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub
Copilot.
