Job Description – Intern: Flight Operations Support 
Position Title: Intern – Flight Operations Support 
Reporting To: Flight Operations / Technical Support Lead 
Location: Bangalore (Office + Field) 
Employment Type: Internship 

Role Summary 
This internship provides practical exposure to UAV systems, drone testing workflows, field
readiness processes, and technical support. The role is ideal for candidates looking to build 
hands-on experience in drone operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. 

Key Responsibilities 
 Execute in-house quality checks of drones, accessories, and supporting systems to 
ensure operational readiness and compliance. 
 Perform health assessments on drones, batteries, DGPS/GNSS units, cameras, and 
payloads; identify issues and escalate for maintenance. 
 Conduct manual and autonomous flight tests following standard validation procedures. 
 Document test procedures, results, anomalies, and corrective actions in structured 
formats. 
 Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and service delivery teams to resolve 
operational issues. 
 Provide on-call technical support for deployed drones and assist field teams with 
troubleshooting. 
 Visit field sites as needed for drone health checks and maintenance activities. 
 Conduct component-level validation tests, including integration, calibration, and 
functional checks. 
 Track and coordinate the movement of drones, spares, and accessories; update 
delivery statuses and flag delays. 

Required Qualifications & Skills 
 Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, 
Aerospace, UAV/Drone Technology, or related fields. 
 Basic understanding of UAV systems, flight mechanics, GNSS/DGPS systems, and 
battery technologies. 
 Familiarity with electronics, sensors, payloads, and basic troubleshooting. 
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
 Proactive, results-driven mindset suited for dynamic operations. 
 Interest in drones, batteries, cameras, GNSS/GPS, payload integration, and field 
operations. 
 Willingness to travel for field assignments. 

Desirable Attributes 
 Exposure to drone operations, RC flying, flight testing, or maintenance. 
 Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and documentation workflows. 
 Comfortable in hybrid oAice + field environments. 
 Strong organizational skills for logistics and spares tracking.
