About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated interns to support our Solution Engineering team in solving real-world geology, exploration, and resource-related challenges using digital and geospatial technologies.

This role is ideal for someone who has strong geological fundamentals, enjoys research and analytical problem solving, and is excited about applying technology to modern exploration and geological workflows.

You will work closely with geologists, mining SMEs, GIS specialists, Product teams, Developers, and Solution Engineers to support workflow design, technical research, solution development, and digital exploration initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Support geology and exploration-related problem solving for digital solution workflows
  • Conduct technical research, literature reviews, and industry benchmarking activities
  • Assist in converting geological and exploration workflows into structured solution logic and digital workflows
  • Support solution development activities related to:
    • Geological mapping
    • Exploration workflows
    • Resource modelling
    • Geospatial analysis
    • Survey and terrain interpretation
    • Geological data visualization and reporting
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, methodology notes, reports, and presentations
  • Study client workflows, operational requirements, and exploration technology trends
  • Collaborate with Product, GIS, Engineering, Business, and Solution Engineering teams
  • Support pilot projects, workflow validation, testing, and implementation activities
  • Participate in discussions around AI, remote sensing, GIS, automation, and digital geology workflows

What We’re Looking For

  • M.Sc. / M.Tech in Geology, Applied Geology, Earth Sciences, Geoscience, or related disciplines
  • Good understanding of geology, exploration workflows, geophysics, geotech, and resource modelling concepts
  • Familiarity with exploration or geological modelling software
  • Basic understanding of GIS and geospatial workflows
  • Awareness of relevant geological and mining regulatory frameworks
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
  • Good research, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work across cross-functional teams
  • Interest in technology-driven transformation within geology and mining industries

Good to Have

  • Exposure to QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar GIS platforms
  • Familiarity with geological and exploration software such as:
    • Leapfrog
    • Datamine
    • Surpac
    • Vulcan
    • Micromine
    • GEOVIA
  • Understanding of drone-based geological mapping, photogrammetry, or digital exploration workflows
  • Basic exposure to Python or GIS-based development workflows
  • Interest in AI/ML, remote sensing, automation, or geospatial analytics
  • Exposure to mining technology platforms, terrain analysis, or spatial data workflows
