About the Role

As a Product Management Intern in our Unmanned Aerial Solutions (UAS) team, you will work on problems at the intersection of hardware, software, and on-ground operations, directly impacting how drones are deployed, how data is captured, and how enterprise workflows run in real-world environments.

You will be expected to own problem statements end-to-end, from understanding field challenges to defining product requirements and working with engineering and operations to drive execution. This role demands strong structured thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to bring clarity to complex, high-stakes systems.

What You’ll Do

Drive sprint planning and execution in collaboration with engineering teams-define scope, prioritize tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives

Work closely with Product Managers and the UAS team to define and refine product requirements

Support the development of UAS-related products (flight ops, data capture, integrations, etc.)

Conduct user research with internal teams (pilots, ops, analytics) and external stakeholders

Analyze product performance and suggest improvements based on data and feedback

Assist in writing PRDs, user stories, and product documentation

Collaborate with engineering and field teams to ensure smooth execution

Help streamline operational processes for drone deployments and data workflows

What We’re Looking For

Strong problem-solving and structured thinking ability

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.

Hands-on experience in developing embedded hardware projects.

Interest in product management, drones/UAS, or geospatial technologies

Ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear, actionable steps

Good communication skills with the ability to work across teams

Basic understanding of product development lifecycle is a plus

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment

Good to Have

Prior internship/project experience in product, operations, or engineering

Exposure to drones, robotics, GIS, or mapping technologies

Familiarity with tools like Excel, Notion, JIRA, or similar

Basic technical understanding (APIs, data pipelines, etc.)
