About the Role

As a Product Designer II, you will play a key role in designing experiences that help users interact with complex geospatial, engineering, and data-driven workflows.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to craft intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling product experiences.

What You'll Do

Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to craft intuitive, pixel-perfect interfaces and visual design assets.
Turn complex data and abstract concepts into engaging stories through compelling visuals.
Design at various stages of fidelity, from sketches and wireframes to polished mockups.
Present designs clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
Work with a team that values intelligence, ownership, and a commitment to delighting our users.
Bring a strong engineering affinity, collaborating closely with development teams to enable practical and feasible design decisions.
Demonstrate a strong product mindset by owning problems end-to-end and balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints across the product lifecycle.
Leverage AI tools to enhance design workflows, including ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design acceleration.
Design modern, scalable user experiences, including AI-driven features, while translating complex technical capabilities into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.

Have experience working closely with front-end engineers.
Have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
Have experience creating and managing design systems.
Are familiar with designing data-heavy user experiences.
Have experience or familiarity with GIS.
Have done projects out of pure curiosity and passion.
Enjoy doodling and creating illustrations.

Desired Skills

Proficiency in Figma and strong visual design principles.
Experience with design systems and responsive design.
Strong documentation skills.
Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and iconography.
Knowledge of design handover and heuristic evaluation.
An experimental mindset.

Experience Requirements

5+ years of experience designing B2B enterprise products.
Experience working on scalable design systems with a systematic approach to product design.
Experience in 3D, engineering, photogrammetry, or photo/video editing domains is preferred.
